There was a time when only the referees wore black. These days it seems as though most away teams are rocking all black, and it's the referees that are decked out in fluorescent experimental numbers that used to be all the rage back in the 90's when your favourite teams hit the road.
This not the first time Chelsea have gone all black, and it likely won't be the last time either. I guess the sportswear manufacturers have finally worked out that after buying the traditional home jersey your average fan isn't forking out another 40 quid for a lime green and orange striped monstrosity that has absolutely nothing to do with the clubs history and tradition. So there it is, black is to away kits of the Noughties what neon was to away kits of the 90's.

Amen. WTF is adidas doing? Does anyone make worse tops that them? No creativity, no style. Christ all that money to Chelsea to make shit shirts. Nike is clearly the best.
I would rather spend money on Adidas than Nike.
I like stuff that will last more than 3 months.
I also heard that this is a quality shirt with the addition of slip guards that the home shirt worn at the CL Final did not have.
