Chip Shop

Every couple of months I usually have some reason to be in Brooklyn, and after whatever it is I've been doing has been done my thoughts always turn to two things. One, am I near anywhere that's got a good pint, and two, is there any good scran nearby.
This past weekend we had a family outing to the Aquarium at Coney Island, so after that was over it was decided that we'd stop in at the newest of the three Chip Shops in Brooklyn. The one we always go to is on 5th Avenue in Park Slope, there's another one on Atlantic Avenue I haven't been to yet and the latest one is also on 5th Avenue, but further up around 73rd Street in Bay Ridge. Near the Salty Dog, if that's any help.
Anyway the food is always good, and as with all good English food, very filling. So filling that I know I'll be sampling all the dishes because my kids can never finish theirs. As was the case in Bay Ridge. Fish and Chips, Haggis, Macaroni and Cheese and Cumberland Sausage were all washed down with a couple of cups of Yorkshire Tea. No need to eat for the rest of the day.
