Adult beverage sampling was the order of the day this past Friday in downtown Syracuse, NY. With 64 beers on tap, there really was only one destination, The Blue Tusk. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff made sure all thirsts were quenched without any unnecessary aggravation. Yours truly got down with Munich's Spaten Premium Lager on draft, poured in the correct glassware no less. Others took part in Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA on draft and the old favorite, Newcastle Brown Ale. Top marks for the music also, old shool reggae and hip hop. A good time was had by all. Recommended.

Jever Pilsener

Jever comes from Jever. And Jever is located in Northern Germany, or more accurately Friesland. And, because over there in Friesland the water is really pure and soft, they can add a little more hops when they are brewing the beer and create the slightly bitter Friesian taste that distinguishes the Jever Pilsener from other beers. Similar in taste to long time Onion Bag Drink Team favorite Dortmunder Pilsener (DAB), the Jever Pilsener is highly recommended.
