Juan Carlos Lopez, president of Millionarios, confirmed to El Tiempo in Colombia the new adidas soccer jersey that Millonarios will be wearing beginning on February 3rd, 2009. The team are currently wearing adidas squadra jerseys in friendly games before returning to serious business on February 3rd. Millionarios will have three uniforms (blue, black and white), the design uses the adidas template that will be in visible on a few teams in 2009, including MLS' Hoston Dynamo. In Colombia there was an internet pre-sale of this jersey that sold out in hours. Millionarios previous uniform providers were local company Saeta. The Onion Bag Soccer Shop will be carrying 2009 Millionarios jerseys, look for them to be online in late February.
